Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Shatri was born in 1970 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is one of the famous reciters of the Quran, known for his beautiful and melodic Quran recitation according to Tajweed rules. The imam studied the Holy Quran Studies and graduated from Cheikh Aymane Rochdi Suwaid in 1416 Hijri.

7. Al-Mueaqly, Sheikh Maher bin Hamad.

One of the famous Quran reciters was born in Madinah in born 7 January 1969. He is the Imam of the Grand Mosque in the Holy City of Mecca. He holds a master’s degree in 1425 AH in the jurisprudence of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal at the College of Shari’a at Umm Al-Qura University and obtained a doctorate in interpretation. 9. Saud bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Shuraim.

Sheikh Saud bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Shuraim was born on January 19th, 1964. He is one of the Imams in the Grand Mosque, Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. The Imam holds a Ph.D. and is a professor of Sharia at the Umma al-Qura University in Makkah. 12. Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary.

Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary is a famous Egyptian Quran reciter who was born in a village called Shubra Al-Namlah in Tanta, Egypt. He memorized the whole Quran at the age of 8, and by the age of 12, he learned all ten recitations from Al-Azhar in 1958. He recited the Quran in his village mosque first, then he entered the radio station and made his first recitation on 16 February 1944. In 1948 he became a Muazzin and a reciter at Sidi Hamzah Mosque.

Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary was appointed reciter of Sidi Ahmed Al-Badawi of Tanta of Al-Ahmadi Mosque in 1949, then of Al-Imam Al Hussein Mosque in Cairo by 1955. He gained many rewards from Islamic and foreign countries. He is one of the best reciters of the Quran that you must listen to.

13. Muhammad Rifat.

Muhammad Rifat was the first Quran reciter to read the Quran on Egyptian Cairo Radio on May 31, 1934.
